Demetrius J. Parrish, Jr., Esquire

           iis a native Philadelphian who attended the U.S. Naval Academy from 1979 to 1983.  He graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1985 with a B.S. in Mathematics and in 1989 graduated from Southern University Law Center with a Juris Doctor.  Mr. Parrish has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar since 1989 and a member of the New Jersey bar since 1990. 

      Before entering private practice, Mr. Parrish worked as a City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia’s Law Department in Business Tax Enforcement and later in Claims.  In 1992, he started as an associate at the Philadelphia office of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner Coleman and Goggin an insurance defense firm.  In 1996 he opened his own law firm in Pennsylvania and New Jersey where his practice is concentrated in civil & criminal litigation, domestic relations, bankruptcy and estate planning & administration.

      In addition to being a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars, Mr. Parrish is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. 

      Mr. Parrish is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Atlantic County New Jersey Bar Association, the National Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  Additionally, Mr. Parrish is an active Prince Hall Mason and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
