DIVORCE, in most cases, is a last resort to resolving marital problems.  If you are

considering a divorce and are looking for representation try our free online consultation

There are two main ways of obtaining a divorce, fault and no-fault. The fault grounds are:

  • Desertion
  • Adultery
  • Cruel & barbarous treatment
  • Bigamy
  • Sentenced to 2 or more years in jail
  • Indignities
  • Insanity

No fault divorce is a popular and more economical method of obtaining a divorce.  Couples

who consent or have been separated for more than two (2) years can be divorced in few

months after filing.

In situations where couples own property, unless they can reach an agreement,

the issue of equitable distribution requires Court intervention.  These issues can become

complicated and legal representation is a must.

When couples break up and children are involved, CUSTODY becomes

an issue. Custody is divided into three (3) parts: physical custody (who the child lives with);

partial custody (visitation with the non-custodial parent) and legal custody (who makes the

important life decisions for the child).  If you and your "ex" can not agree, contact our office

because it's probably time to let the Courts determine custody and you're going to need

representation!

CHILD SUPPORT in most cases is a  sensitive issue.  In all cases, non-

custodial parents must provide support for their children.  Nevertheless, the question of the

amount of support that should be paid is foremost in eveyone's mind.  If you are seeking child

support or if you are being sued for child support, you need representation.  Contact our

office for our help.
